Board of Directors

The DVCA Board is responsible for monitoring the actions and decisions of the Executive Committee and for making suggestions for improvement to the Executive Committee and the general membership. The Board deals primarily with those activities of the Association that could have a broad or far-reaching effect such as the formulation of long-term policy goals or policy positions. They are elected to two year terms.


Board of Directors, January 2022 – December 2023

Dr. Mary McPherson and her partner have lived in Drew Valley for twenty four years and have loved every minute of it!. She is an educator and was most recently the elementary school principal at St. Martin’s Episcopal School. She graduated from Oglethorpe University with a degree in history and then earned a M.S. in Instructional Technology and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies from GA State University. 

In addition to the DVCA board, Mary also serves on the board of directors for IDA-GA (International Dyslexia Association) and the board of advisors for the Cowart-Ashford Dunwoody YMCA. Mary served previously on the board of the DVCA and is excited to get involved once again. 

She is passionate about education, youth development, and loves to walk her dog, Maggie, in the neighborhood.

Stacey Miller Morris has been a Drew Valley resident since 2003.  In the last 17 years in Drew Valley, she lived in her original 1950s ranch for 5 years, then in 2008 ran the numbers and decided instead of doing a large addition/renovation, tore their house down and built a custom home, and are now after 10 years, are in the process of renovating our home again!  Stacey & her husband Ted are Realtors and own Miller Morris Homes which she started in 2009, 10+ years ago.  They have had the pleasure of servicing their neighbors to make the best decision for them for buying and selling in Drew Valley.  Their children are Skylar, Jade 9 years old and Drake Edward 7 years old.  They love raising them in Drew Valley because of the quality education at Ashford Park Elementary, the walkability to get their family outside and moving, proximity to all the diversity and fun the city has to offer, and all the friends they have made with neighbors over the years.  Stacey has enjoyed serving on the DVCA Board since 2012 to help Drew Valley to continue to be the best it can be!

Kyle Nettesheim and his wife, Ali, moved into Ashford Park in 2013, and most recently moved across Dresden Drive to Drew Valley in 2020. Kyle leads a commercial business unit for a global healthcare company and has an undergraduate degree in engineering from the University of Miami.You’ll often find Kyle, Ali and their 2 Goldendoodles walking around the neighborhood, enjoying the many parks and amenities offered by the City of Brookhaven, or enjoying the fantastic restaurants throughout our local slice of Atlanta.

Trey Ruello and his family moved to Drew Valley in 2020, having moved out of Georgia six years ago.  Trey oversees analytics and data service offerings for a legal software company, and prior to software spent his career in finance.  Trey has an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management. You’ll often find Trey and his family strolling around the neighborhood, lounging on the front porch, or hanging decorations for the next New Orleans event (Mardi Gras, Saints Games, etc.).

Josh Sinclair has lived in Drew Valley since 2009 and lives with his wife and 2 children on Fearn Circle. He loves the neighborhood and its walkability.  Josh is an insurance adjuster with a regional carrier specializing in liability claims.  He graduated from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, MI with a degree in Business Administration.

 Kevin Walkup has been a Drew Valley resident since 2011 and grew up just northeast in Peachtree Corners.  Kevin lives with his fiancé, Mary Beth, and their 12-year-old fluffy white pomeranian, Loki. Kevin has been in sales his entire life and is currently in the enterprise technology sales space. In addition to selling software, Kevin also is an advisor and investor for multiple local technology startups. Outside of working hours, Kevin and Mary Beth enjoy taking sunset cruises on their golf cart, spending time with neighbors, and tending to all of their house plants. Kevin and Mary Beth always enjoy meeting neighbors, so if you see them outside trimming rose bushes or in the yard, feel free to stop by and say hello! 

Josh Huffaker moved to Drew Valley with his wife, Meredith, and dog, Berkley, in 2018 from Asheville, NC. He has since welcomed a daughter, Nora (2), and has another girl on the way. What drew Josh and his wife to the neighborhood was the walkability and quick access to Dresden restaurants and shops. He works as the Campus President of the South College campus in Atlanta, and as a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Josh is an avid Volunteers fan.
