Drew Valley Information & Resources

Drew Valley will be undergoing a sewer line project managed by DeKalb County’s Watershed Management Department. The project will add needed sewer capacity for the neighborhood. The entire community will be impacted by this project. Homeowners with property along the creek will be especially impacted.

In November 2025, letters were sent to homeowners throughout the neighborhood, alerting them that DeKalb County Watershed Management “requires certain rights” to their property. These rights include permanent easements and temporary construction easements.

Those of you who were affected by DeKalb County’s Water Main Replacement Project might remember the delays and problems associated with that project. We hope that this new sewer project will not create as many problems for the neighborhood or our neighbors. One reason that we are sharing the project information about the new sewer line is in order to help all homeowners and residents be better informed and prepared.

As of February 2026, the sewer project details are limited. Here is some information which we hope will be helpful.

Peachtree DeKalb Airport (PDK)

Noise Hotline: PDK maintains a 24-hour hotline (770) 936-5442 for the public to notify the airport of noisy aircraft operation. This program also responds to all complaints from its e-mail address: pdknoise@dekalbcountyga.gov.

Experience has it that this program is very responsive and interested in making sure that the airport and its users are good neighbors. It helps them immensely if you give them the exact time and the nature of the intrusion.

More information is available on DeKalb County’s Noise Program website.
